So what is this blog all about? Well, as you hopefully know, games are a large part of our world; we play them for fun to relieve the stress of our day and for competition to excite us, but they are also something that can inspire us and speak to us on a deep level. I believe that games have Power and I want to analyze and share that Power with as many people as I can.
It has become easier than ever to Create with Unity and Unreal Engine 4 out and a myriad of tutorials available across the Great Web. With feasibly anyone able to pick up an engine and Create it is more important than ever to look at the Power of Design, the choices behind the decisions, the soul of a Game.
I am myself just a fledgling Gamelock and my grasp of the Power is not as great as some, but I am compelled to create this blog and I hope it can help both you and myself.
